The Robocoaster will be stationed from 23 to 31 May in St. Moritz Square, available daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, to provide the appropriate fun factor. As KUKA Roboter is supporting the project of the Old Augsburg Society for the renovation of the Schaezler Palace, a touch of James Bond will also grace St. Moritz Square. Five KUKA robots achieved world fame alongside 007 in the new Bond film “Die Another Day”.
In front of the Church of St. Moritz, one of them is now to bring some action to the tombola in the guise of the Robocoaster. Two people at a time can sit in the robot’s gondola and be whizzed through the air. The free-flight is sure to become one of the highlights at the event. After all, the Robocoaster is the first robot in the world to be approved for carrying human passengers. For this test of courage, those to have purchased three tickets will be able to choose from a wide range of ride profiles and speeds, varying from gentle to extreme.
With the cost-free installation of the Robocoaster, KUKA is making an important contribution to the renovation of the 1770 Schaezler Palace and participating in this huge financial challenge.
